Kent Stafford

Owner & Funeral Director

Kent Stafford was born and raised in Maryville, Tennessee. He graduated from Maryville High School in 1971 and was a member of Maryville High School's 1970 state championship football team. He then attended East Tennessee State University on a football scholarship. He returned to Maryville and Miller Funeral Home in 1976, two years after the death of his father, T.J. Stafford, Jr., in order to help his grandmother, Veva (Mrs. W.R. Miller), in running the funeral home. Kent earned his state funeral director's license in 1978. After the death of Mrs. Miller in 1981, he became a partner with his mother, Vivian (Mrs. T.J. Stafford, Jr.), and incorporated Miller Funeral Home.

Fred Adomat

Embalmer

Fred graduated from John A. Gupton College of Mortuary Science in 1977. He became a licensed funeral director in 1979 and has been embalming for Miller Funeral Home since 1988. Fred is a past president of the Greater Knox Funeral Directors Association and a past president of the North Knoxville Rotary Club. Fred is married to the former Claudia Ricks and is an avid photographer and golfer.

Chad Yarnell

Funeral Director

Chad began working for Miller Funeral Home in 2004. He received his funeral director's license in April 2007. Chad is a graduate of Heritage High School and has three children, DJay, Sarah, and Levi.

Ben T. Ward

Funeral Director

Ben began working at Miller Funeral Home in July of 2004 and received his funeral director's license in September 2009. He is a graduate of William Blount High School. Ben is married to the former Rachel McKeehan and has a son, Elijah Jones. He currently resides in Maryville, where he is the pastor of Springview Baptist Church.
