William Charles "Wild Bill" Hardy, age 62, of Blaine, TN went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his father, Douglas Charles Hardy; and special uncle, Robert Burchfield.

He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Hardy; partner of 20 years and soulmate, Sylvia Wagner; children, Jennifer (Brian) Rippy, Zackary Hardy, Nicholas Hardy, Nikole Hardy, Jayson Sweet, Jonathyn (Ashley) Mina, and Zack (Lakin Inman) Cagle; and grandchildren, Brian Rippy Jr., Ona (Dylan) Rippy, Christopher (Reanna) Payne, Emily Mina, Jackson Mina, Chelsea Mina, Taylar Sweet, Emory Cagle, and Kinsley Cagle.

Bill was an amazing man who had an extraordinary ability to take pencil and paper and create beauty. He loved the mountains, listening to Tom Petty up loud, but most of all he loved his family.  He was an amazing father, grandfather, and partner, and he loved with his whole heart.  He was happiest with a house full of kids and all of the laughter and noise that brought.  He was taken from us way too soon and will be forever missed.  In the words of Tom Petty, You're Learning How to Fly!

Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
