William "Bill" John Boddy, age 70, of Madisonville, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, December 6, 2025.  He was a member of Kagley's Chapel Baptist Church where he loved to serve others. Although his career path eventually shifted, law enforcement remained the work he was most proud of.

He was preceded in death by his parents, WJ and Catherine Boddy; wife of 25 years, Rella Boddy; stepson, James Kershaw; and grandson, Aaron Kershaw.

Bill is survived by his stepdaughter, Rhonda (Nick) Keeley; stepson, John (Rose) Kershaw; stepdaughter, Regina (Mark) Sexton; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Carol (Rocky) Sink, Jim Boddy, and David Boddy; and seven nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date
