William Dan Frye passed peacefully on the morning of June 10th, 2023. Bill, after marrying his beloved Bennie Corine Webb, was drafted into the Army where he served with honor for 3 years in the Korean War. After being honorably discharged, Bill & Bennie then moved to Illinois to gain employment by Caterpillar. Bill was a loyal & loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle & grandfather. Bill is survived by his daughter-in-law Lainie Frye, grandsons Jake & Gage Frye, sisters Judy & Melvin Hembree, Marcia & Louis Messick & Colleen Huskey, brother Roger & Vickie Frye & special niece & nephew Stephanie & Mike Walton. Bill joined his wife Bennie & both sons, Benjamin Leon Frye & Steven Dan Frye. May they all fly high & far together. Graveside service will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Caylor's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
