William Don Cooper, age 90, of Maryville born March 14, 1932, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022.  He attended New Life Ministries Christian Center.  He retired from Republic Steel (LTV) in Chicago, IL after 33 years. He enjoyed spending time in the mountains and his home of Happy Valley and loved working in his garden.  He was a long time member of the Masons.

He was preceded in death by his son, William Donnie Cooper; and daughter, Mary Angel Cooper; parents, Walter Lee Cooper and Cora Mae Beasley Cooper; brother, Bobby Cooper and infant brothers.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Bell Manns Cooper; children, Sheree (Wilfred) Moody of Friendsville, Kay Carpenter of Maryville, Kathy Cooper of Walland; Rev. David (Brenda Gail) Cooper of Maryville, Paul Browning and Luke Manns; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, December 12, 2022, at Grandview Cemetery, Pastor David Cooper and Pastor Pacer Hepperly officiating.  Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
