Wayne Obid Tipton, age 90, of Maryville went to rest with the Lord, Tuesday, July 23, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Bernice "Tootsie" Garner Tipton; parents, William and Hettie Mae Sellers Tipton; and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his children, Danny (Cindy) Tipton, Chuck (Felita) Tipton, Jackie Sands, and Marcie (George) Barringer; six grandchildren, Becky, Matthew, Mitchell, Cassie, Keith, and Sam; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members, neighbors, and friends.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Hillcrest Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
