Vivian Lea Kempfer, 73, of Maryville, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly in her home the evening of Friday, January 28, 2022.  Although she will be dearly missed by her family and friends in life, we are overwhelmed with joy that she has been welcomed by her Savior as His good and faithful servant.  Vivian was known to many as a wonderful nurse, serving countless others in times of need during her fifty plus year career.  She was known to others as a gifted pianist, serving with her music in various churches, nursing facilities and many other gatherings in multiple states.  She was a light to her friends and became family to many more.  Vivian never hesitated to go out of her way to help others and was eager to spread the Word and love of the Lord to all she met.

Vivian is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Wanda Kempfer, stepmother Juanita, her brother Gerald Kempfer, best friend Gary Dagel and many beloved pets.  She is survived by her sisters Diane and Susan and their families, her brother Kelvin and family, her closest friend Mary Dagel, her grandchildren Alex and Zack Soule and Kamryn and Nick Dagel, and several nieces, nephews and their families and many friends she considered family.

Vivian never wanted to be the center of attention, instead always receiving her joy from working in the background to make others happy.  Per her wishes, there will be no formal funerary services.  A Celebration of Life service will be planned later as warmer weather permits.  Vivian's Facebook page will remain open, and the family invites all who knew and loved her to share fond memories and stories about your time together.
