Our most precious mother, Virginia L. (Payne) Oliver, went home to be with our Lord on Saturday March 5, 2022.  She attended Binfield and Friendsville School.  She then went to work for Levi Strauss for 22 years. She later became a Registered Nurse and worked at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital and Blount Memorial Hospital for over 24 years. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Earl and Lillie Payne, sister Mildred Vaughn and brother Handford Payne. Virginia is survived by daughters and sons-in laws Debbie and Tim Beasley, Laura and David Casteel, and Renee and Mike Henderson.  Grandchildren Nicholas and Emma Lee Owenby and Mackenzie and Mark Casteel. Siblings Brenda Vineyard, Joan Walker, and Melvin Payne.  Many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren, and she loved her little pets Biscuit and Jazzy. Virginia was an avid camper and fisherwoman. She enjoyed Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, the 4th of July, birthdays, her children, her grandchildren, her family, friends, and Church.  Virginia loved to sing in Church. She was an active member of Greenback Memorial Baptist.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Services will be held at Greenback Memorial Baptist Church on Saturday, March 19 at 3:00PM with Pastor Lon Shockley officiating.
