Veronica Stiles Al-Bassam departed this world on Monday, June 20th, 2022.
She passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 68. Veronica was born to Lynn
Stiles and Minnie Sue Graves Stiles on December 20th, 1953. She was a member of the
EHS class of 71 and launched a successful career as a hairdresser after graduating
from Tennessee School of Beauty. She continued her education at the Vidal Sassoon
Academy in London. Veronica had a passion for music and art, and was an accomplished
homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Casey Able. She leaves
behind her brother Roger Stiles of Minnesota, her son Jason Al-Bassam of
Cambridge, UK and grandson Will Able of Maryville, TN. There will be a memorial at a later date.
