Vernie Ruth McKeehan, 90, of Maryville passed away peacefully Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Fairpark Health and Rehab Facility.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Vernon McKeehan; parents, Floyd and Mary Sellers; and two brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by her son, Jackie "Jack" McKeehan and wife, Edie; son, Clarence McKeehan; daughter, Cathy Hicks; daughter, JoAnn Russell; son, Ray McKeehan and wife, Dona; sister, Loretta Lequire; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Vernie will be greatly missed by her church family at Village Baptist Church in Eagleton and her dear friends at Fairpark Health and Rehab Facility.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Gerald Jones officiating.  Family and friends will meet at 11:00 AM Friday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
