Shirley Ann Whitehead, age 77, of Maryville went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 23, 2021 in the comfort of her home with her daughter by her side.  She loved her family unreservedly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Harold Whitehead; father, Hubert Miles; mother, Ella Miles; step-mother, Betty Miles; brothers, William Miles, James Miles, Junior Miles, and John Miles; sisters, Marie Tipton, Libby Gibson, and Brenda Lewelling.  She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Whitehead; sisters-in-law, Carol Miles and Virginia Miles; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Old Kagley's Chapel Cemetery Fund, C/O Brenda Self, 2210 Tipton Loop Rd. Maryville, TN 37803

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Alex Smith officiating, a private interment will be held at Old Kagley's Chapel Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
