Shirley Ella Roberts Shannon, born August 3, 1940, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 21, 2020.  She was a member of Turner Street Baptist Church, and loved to quilt and read.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Jim" G. Shannon; parents, James and Lucille Roberts; brothers, James C. Roberts Jr., Donald Ray, Carl Eugene, Samual and Ralph Roberts; sisters, Jeneva Lucille Roberts, Willma Jean Roberts, Evelyn Christene McKee, Linda Bradburn, and Gladys Purcell; and daughter, Sandra Marlena McKee.  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Shelby McKee of Greenback, and Billy and Alice McKee of Abilene, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Charles Moffett of Greenback; brother, Gary Roberts of Maryville; sisters, Kathy Russell of Texas and Carolyn Sue Shoffner of Maryville; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Pastor Tim Townsend officiating.  Interment will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at Forrest Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.  (865) 982-6041
