Shirley Marie Bivens, 80 passed away Monday, April 18, 2022.  Preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Ruby Purkey; sisters, Linda Melson and Betty Clure.  She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Grady Bivens; children, Jewell Bivens White, Norman (Debra) Bivens, Hollie (Malcolm) Randolph, and Scott Bivens; grandchildren, Katie (Harley) Adams, Lindsay Bivens, and Jason Bivens; great-grandchild, Sevvy; sister, Janice Ramsey; sister-in-law, Bertha Ownsby; several nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Empty Pantry Fund, 307 East Harper St. Maryville, TN 37804.  Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, April 25, 2022, at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Bill Dixon officiating, interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
