Shirlee Lee (Hammontree) Chambers, age 86 of Maryville, passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on Friday March 14, 2025. Shirlee worked at Levis, Blount National Bank, Citizens, Alcoa Banking and retired from City of Maryville; she was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church. She loved fishing, singing, cooking, working in the garden and planting flowers, sewing, and enjoying her family get togethers.

She was preceded in death by husband of 56 years, William Monroe Chambers; her parents, Fred Lee and Myrtle Hammontree; brother, George Hammontree; and sister Carolyn Hammontree Vaden.

She is survived by her children, Tony (Denise) Chambers, Shannon Chambers Brewer and husband, Randy Brewer; grandchildren, Erin, Ivan and Cade Chambers, Casey Brewer Moss and husband, Houston Moss, Cody Brewer and Katelyn Steadman Brewer; great grandchildren, Piper Hunter, Kip Moss, Jace Brewer, Blakely Moss, Kinsley Brewer.

Special thanks to UT Hospice (all the ladies we met), Nathan from Amedisys, Sharon Clark and Liz Carter who took very good care of mother, thank you so much.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 18, 2025, at Liberty Baptist Church from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment service will follow with Rev.
