Sherry Jean Murphy, age 66, of Maryville went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, February 11, 2026.  She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Murphy; mother, Ann Murphy; sister, Terry Murphy Burkett; and sisters-in-law, Trisha Murphy and April Murphy.

Sherry is survived by her son, Scottie (Shana) Hughes; granddaughter, Gracie Hitson; brothers, Tony Murphy, Tracy (Lynette) Murphy, Rodney (Paige) Murphy; many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart; and many more extended family and friends.

Special thanks for all the prayers over the years of her sickness.

A celebration of life visitation will be held Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Miller Funeral Home, and the family will reconvene after the visitation at The Southern Grace Manor, 329 Cates St, Maryville, TN 37801, for fellowship.
