Shelby Jean Sparks, age 85 of Maryville, TN passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Shelby was born August 13, 1939. She is preceded in death by husband Robert Lee (R.L.) Sparks, parents Claude Shuler and Mae Irwin Shuler of Maryville TN, daughter in law to the late James Washington Sparks and Martha Tipton Sparks of Maryville TN, brothers Jack Shuler, Donald Shuler. Survived by son Randy Sparks,  daughters Sandy (Bruce) Curtis, Karen (David) Smith, sisters Phyllis (Doug) Burchfield, Christine  (Jerry) Moss of Maryville, brothers Curtis Shuler, Ronald (Pam) Shuler of Maryville, and several special nieces and nephews, grandchildren Leanne Sparks Lane, Casey (Jake) Boswell, Travis Sparks, Emmery (Kyle) Snyder, Dalton (Caroline) Curtis, Madison Smith and fiancé  (Hayden Townsend), Makenzie (Josh) Williams, great grandchildren Lauren Graves, Jeremi, Jackson and Madelyn-Claire Boswell, Payten Goodman, Hunter Sparks, Rhett Williams, Henry and Lola Curtis, Sloane Snyder. The family would like to give a special thanks to Blount Memorial Hospice team and all the caretakers. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday November 30th at Miller Funeral Home in the Magnolia Chapel with service to follow at 1:00 PM with Rev. Allen Burchfield officiating. The family will reconvene on Saturday November 30th at Grandview Cemetery for a 3:00 PM graveside service. Arrangements made by Miller Funeral Home 915 W.
