Shawna Rogers

Shawna Rogers, 39, of Seymour, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 12.  She was surrounded by loved ones as she gained her wings.

Shawna had a heart of gold and to know her was to love her.  She adored her kids and granddaughter more than anything.  She loved music, singing karaoke, the Georgia bulldogs, dragonflies, and cooking.  But most of all, she loved hanging out with friends and family and being the life of every party!

She is preceded in death by her son, Baby Aiden Ray, her father, Stephen Rogers, her grandparents, Lorene & Dillard Rogers and Wanda & Emerson Gee, her great-aunt and uncle. Berneda & Marvin Harris, and her uncle, Mike Rogers.

She is survived by her daughters, Madison Rogers, Destiny Bigham, and Maddux Rogers and her son, Dalton Bigham, her granddaughter, Ocean Rae, her mother and step-father, Tina & Rob Knowlton, sisters Julie (Amanda) Gillespie, Marsha (Steve) Rhoades and brothers, Samuel (Courtney) Rogers and Larry (Haley) Elrod and Richard Elrod.

She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends that she loved dearly.
