Samuel Dewayne Allen, age 31, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 20, 2023.  He was a member of Birchfield Baptist Church.  Samuel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Ruth Travis; uncle and aunt, Jim and Cat Cobb.

He is survived by his parents, Barbara and Dewayne Allen; brother, Jack Allen; grandmother, Jane Allen; aunts and uncles, Ronnie and Sue Correll, Donna Reynolds, Ray and Missy Travis, Jack and Michelle Allen, and Jessica Allen; special little cousin, "Little Sister" Raven Travis; special sister-in-law, Joy Williams; and many special cousins and extended family.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Monday, September 25, 2023, Rev. Greg Watson officiating.  Interment will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Morganton Cemetery.  The family will receive from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
