Sammy O'dell Hughes, age 69, One of our finest men on earth laid down to sleep on Monday and never woke up the next morning.  It's the way we all want to go when its our time, but it was a few years too early.  Everyone loved him and he loved everybody.  For sure he'll be in heaven when we get there.  He was preceded in death by parents; Riley and Hazel Hughes.  He is survived by his wife of 46 years Karen Hughes, son; Jason Hughes and wife Heather and their daughter Kinsley, daughter; Lauren Hughes and fiancée Jeff McCollum, brother-in-laws; Pat Newson, Terry Newson, Stanley (Debbie) Newson, and Richard Newson.  Friends and family may call at convenience from 10am-2pm Friday at Miller Funeral Home.  Graveside service will be at 3 pm Friday at Grandview Cemetery Pavilion.  Arrangements by Miller Funeral Home.
