Ryan Christopher Sweitzer, age 45, of Madisonville formerly of Ohio, passed away Monday, March 18, 2024. He was a member of Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church, also a former member of Anchor Baptist Church where he assisted with serving the children's ministry.  Ryan also loved animals and fishing.

He is survived by his children, Caden Sweitzer and Chloe Sweitzer; one grandson due in 2024; mother, Jeanie (Ken) Whittaker Payne; sister, Rochelle Burtrum; maternal grandparents, Bill and Ruth Ann Shafer; brothers, Eric Sweitzer, Jason Sweitzer, and Adam Sweitzer; nieces, Brianna (Josh) Anthony and Chelsey (Brandon) Cain; nephew, Christopher Beeman; and many aunts and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 22, 2024, at Pleasant View Baptist Church, Rev. David Bayless and Rev. Quinten Caldwell officiating, interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery in Madisonville, TN.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Friday at Pleasant View Baptist Church, 487 Cochran St. Alcoa, TN 37701.
