Ruby Kathleen Nelson Age 76 went home Wednesday November 22. 2023.

Preceded in Death by husband of 44 years Albert "Wilburn" Gay, Parents Rev. Ezra and Eula Nelson, Brother Shirley Nelson, Sisters Gladys and Cledia Nelson, Sister- in -law Joanne Nelson. Survived by brother Clifford Nelson, Nephews Terry (Wilma), Ricky (Sammie), and Darrell (Kim) Nelson. two great nephews, one great niece, four great-grand nieces and a host of cousins and friends. A special thanks to caregivers on East Wing at Foothills Transitional care and Blount Memorial Hospice nurses. The family will receive friends Sunday November 26, 2023, from 12-2. The funeral service will be at 2pm Miller Magnolia Chapel with Rev. Quinton Caldwell and Terry Nelson officiating. Family and friends will reconvene at Old Mount Zion Cemetery.
