Roy Jessie Green of Maryville went to be with the lord Monday February 8, 2021. He worked for and then retired after 25 years from PEPCO. After retirement he moved back to his hometown of Maryville, Tennessee. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years Donna; daughter, Jessica (Shawn) Smith; sister, Freda (Leroy) Breeden of Maryville and Reva (Jack Troy) Woodall of Rockford; his beloved granddaughter, Greenlee; sister-in-law Brenda (Donald) Ball; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. In his spare time, he loved to hunt with his friends Donald "Buffalo" Ball and his friend Charlie.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Green and Mary D. Green; brothers, Harold Green, Sherrill Green, Paul Edward Green; sister, Neva Martin; brother-in-law Jim; mother-in-law, Lois Dawson; and father-in-law, Wilford (Tookie) Dawson. A private graveside service will be held Friday February 12th at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends are welcome to stop by his residence after 2pm.
