Roy Edward "Ed" Ballard, age 84, of Maryville went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 2, 2024.  He was a member of Grandview Baptist Church and an avid Bridge player at Everett Senior Center. Ed loved all sports, but especially the Atlanta Braves.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Mark Edward Ballard and Darryl Kent Ballard; and parents, Roy and Edith Ballard.

He is survived by his grandson, Blake (Ashton) Ballard of Brookhaven, Mississippi; daughter-in-law, Brenda Ballard of Brandon, Mississippi; and sister, Dianne Ballard Nichols of Maryville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Grandview Baptist Church, 2208 Tuckaleechee Pike, Maryville, TN 37803.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Grandview Pavilion, Rev. Chris Pass officiating.  Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
