Roy Edward Chaney, age 76, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday September 30, 2026 surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by parents Charles Esmond Chaney and Rose Lee Morrison. Brother Kenneth Ray Chaney; sisters Bobbi Frye and Diana Smith.

He is survived by his sons; Edward and Richie Chaney (Jill), Grandchildren; Sydney and Jackson Chaney, Brothers; Charles Henry and David Chaney (Sarah), Sisters; Betty Wilson (Charles), Virginia Morton, and Elizabeth Husky (Jack).

Graveside service will be held at Grandview Cemetery Friday October the 2nd at 3:00PM with Reverend Jack Husky officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respect at a celebration of life gathering on Friday, October 16, 2026 at any time from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Louisville Point Park, 3298 Cox Rd. Louisville, TN 37777.
