Rowena Helton Brooks Tuck, of Greenback, went home to be with her Lord, Friday, July 24, 2026, at the age of 93. Rowena was a member of Meadow United Methodist Church for 72 years, where she served as Sunday School teacher, Lay Leader, Treasurer, and was still serving as song leader. Rowena retired from Sears Roebuck after 45 years of service and after retirement enjoyed Western Square Dancing with her friends.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Brooks and Charles Tuck; parents, Isadora and Isaac Helton; in-laws, Carrie and William Brooks; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred and Floyd Logan, Margaret and Elmer Hughett, Mattie and Kenneth Lewis, Mae Hayes, and Dorothy Woods; sisters-in-law, Gail Helton and Frances Helton; and several nieces and nephews.

Rowena is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Scott Knight; brothers and sister-in-law, Robert Helton and Jim and Glenneth Helton; and several nieces, nephews, and special friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meadow United Methodist Church, c/o Elaine Graves, 5111 Old Niles Ferry Rd Maryville, TN 37801.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Tricia Chaput, Rev. Jimmy Guider, and Pastor Scott Knight officiating. Interment service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at Cloyd’s Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
