Obituary

Reva E. Hembree McCall, age 87, was called home to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of Thursday, March 4, 2021.  Born June 9, 1933 in Sevier County, Tennessee, she worked as an accountant for Western Auto.  Reva enjoyed sewing and crafting, camping in the mountains, and spending time with family and friends.  She was fiercely loyal and protective of those she loved, and always eager to laugh and tell stories.

Reva is survived by her son, Conley (Veronica) McCall; daughter, Jeanne Abedi; grandchildren, Eddie (Janell) McCall, Missy McCall, Adam (Mandy) McCall, Christy (Shannon) Donaldson, and Jessica (Donnie) Floyd; great-grandchildren, Brandon McCall, Jared Genta, Anna Floyd, Olivia Floyd, Mia Floyd, Lilly McCall, Lexie McCall, and Cole McCall; sister-in-law, Shirley Hembree; nieces, Glenda (Ford) Burger, Joni Popwell, Carolyn (Bill) Emert, and Joan Hembree; nephews, Mitch (Dorothy) Hembree, and Stanley Jenkins.  Also special to Reva's heart, Polly Hall, Harriett Brown, and many other nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she loved very much.

Reva is preceded in death by her father, Luther A Hembree; mother, Rosa P. Hembree; siblings, Virgie Jenkins, Eldred Hembree, Ina Grace Hembree, Glenn Hembree, Ralph Hembree, and Howard Hembree; brother-in-law, Arthur Jenkins; nephews, Donald Jenkins, Dale Jenkins, and Eldred Jenkins.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 7, 2021 at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, Elder Jerry Hembree officiating with interment to follow at Tuckaleechee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
