Phyllis A. Lane, 79, of Rockford, died December 22, 2022, at Blount Memorial Hospital.  She was born September 21, 1943 in Blount County, Tennessee to Harold and Daisy Whitehead.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul Bruce Lane Jr; sisters, Wanda Jones, Alice Faye Jolly, Nadine Yearout; brothers, Jimmy Whitehead, Leonard Whitehead, Mother and Father-in-law, Paul and Mary Lee Lane; and cherished fur baby, Bandit.

Survivors include: daughters, Brenda Heflin, Sharon Monterroso; sister, Shirley (Charlie) Davis; brother, Randall "Bucky" Whitehead; brother-in-law, Bruce Lane; and sister-in-law, Nancy (Ronald) Cardwell; 6 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel. Rev. James Loy officiating, interment will follow at Clark's Grove Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
