Phoebe L. Nelson was born Oct. 19th, 1952, in Nashville, TN and went to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 22, 2026.

She is preceded in death by parents, Albert & Mildred Lampley and daughter, Barbra Pinkston. She is survived by life-long husband, Samuel L. Nelson; son, Jerry Nelson; grandchildren, Jaime Lee, Tasha (Whitney) Guerra, Marquita Guerra, & Tayla Pinkston; great-grandchildren Sebastian & Tobias Turner, & Emir Guerra.

Phoebe grew up in Maryville, TN where she met her husband in 1979. The 2 were married that same year (when you know, you know). This, too, is where they raised their family & spent the next 46 years together. Phoebe loved family gatherings and hand making gifts for her loved ones. She enjoyed cooking & board games.

She was very patient in anything she did, from teaching her children & grandchildren to the crafting she did -she always found meaning in the gifts she created. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she cherished every moment spent with her family. Phoebe will be remembered by her smile, outgoing personality, famous recipes like her tuna casserole, and a laugh you would recognize anywhere.

Mostly, to all that knew her, she will be remembered as our "Beautiful Grammy".

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 Pm Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Michael Nelson officiating. Interment will be held at 3:00 Pm Thursday at Grandview Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
