Paul Vernon Gumm, age 89, of Maryville, TN passed peacefully at home on February 23, 2024. Preceded in death by his parents Robert & Gladys Gumm,  wife Trula, son Paul David,sisters-in-law Bobbie Mayfield & Ruby Quillen,  brother-in-law and sister-in-law Earl & Lula McMahan, brother-in-law Claude Purkey, and niece Cheryl Purkey.

He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law Kevin & Stephanie Gumm and Timothy & Candus (Claiborne) Gumm. Grandchildren Dylan (Kelsey) Gumm, Megan Gumm, Elijah Gumm, and Abigail (Stephen) Glann.  Great Grandchildren Payton, Charlotte, & Finnegan Gumm and Olivia Gumm. Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law Paul & Belinda Purkey.  Nephew and Niece Mark (Sheila) McMahan, and Cindy (Eddie) Zayas-Bazan.

Miller Funeral Home will handle final arrangements. Interment and graveside service at Sherwood Memorial Gardens on Tuesday at 11:00am. Justin Phillips of Grace Connection Fellowship International (Greenback, TN) officiating.
