He often shared a smile and a lighthearted spirit with those around him, famously noting his favorite quote, "It's hard to be humble, when you're as great as I am."
Paul was deeply dedicated to his family and his work. He enjoyed time spent with loved ones and was a loyal and proud Miami Dolphins fan. For over 30 years, he served as an Installation and Repair Technician with Embarq (formerly Sprint), where he was respected for his commitment and reliability.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul M. Ganoung and Leona L. Ganoung. He is survived by his siblings: Patricia L. Moore, Lois A. Ganoung, Richard O. Ganoung (Debbie), and Jean E. A private burial for immediate family will be held in Maryville, Tennessee, where he will be laid to rest alongside his beloved parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory.
