Naomi “Ruth” Dailey Welch Wilson, age 92, joined the Heavenly Choir on August 20, 2026. She was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Rockford.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Grady Welch and husband, John Wilson; parents, W.B. and Bess Johnson Dailey; and eleven brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Sandra (Carlis) Hitson, Diane (Bill) Hudson, Randy (Susan) Welch, and Jeffrey (Edith) Welch; grandchildren, Angela Hitson, Anthony Hitson, Tasha Dunaway, Shanna Stover, Scott Welch, and Josh Welch; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen Dailey Kirkland; and dozens of nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, August 24, 2026, at Clarks Grove Cemetery, Rev. Ralph Dailey, Rev. Gerald Jones, Rev. Jerry Vittatoe, and Rev. Billy Moore officiating. Family and friends may pay their respect from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
