Nancy Louise Shockley, age 81, of Greenback, TN was ushered into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 3rd, 2022.
Now she is basking in the presence of the One she adored and led her family to by example. Though we grieve, we have joy in knowing she is singing praises to the Lord.
Louise was married to the love of her life, Gene Shockley, for over 50 years. Together, they ran the family dairy farm and partnered with Pet Milk. Louise was later employed at Greenback School and The University of Tennessee Medical Center, where she retired.
Louise was known for her strong work ethic, her love for others and her unyielding faith in Christ.
Louise was a member of Salem Baptist church and a former member of Marble Hill Baptist, where she faithfully served and worshiped her Lord and Savior.
Louise is survived by her four children; Patti (Pudge) Smith, Diana (David) Mitchell, Melissa Fee (Lisa), Lon (Joy) Shockley Jr.
Grandchildren: Trey (Stephanie) Smith, Nathan (Katie) Smith, David 'Mitch' (Haylee) Mitchell III, Andrew (Summer) Mitchell, Nancy (Evan) Esh, Joseph (Jennifer) Fee Jr. , Whitney (Caleb) Watson, Grace Shockley, Garrett Shockley and Grant Shockley
Great Grandchildren; Patrick, Ivalee, Madelynn Louise, Charlotte Belle, Reagan, Judah, John Luke, Micah, Annalee, Titus, Abigail Ruth, Malachi, Bethany, Isaiah, Samuel and Francis Louise.
Her children arise up, and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praiseth her . Many daughters have done virtuously, But thou excellest them all.

Louise is preceded in death by her beloved husband; Lon Eugene 'Gene' Shockley Sr., Precious Grandson; Johnathon Wesley Fee, Son-in-law, Joe Fee, Father; Ralph Patty, Mother; Georgia Patty, Father-in-law; Lonnie Shockley, Mother-in -law; Georgia Shockley, Brothers-in-law; Hollis Neely, Ralph Guider, Max McNeilly and Stanley McCall
Sisters-in-law; Virginia Patty and Helen Shockley; Nephews, Jamie Patty and Kirby Evans
The family would like to express sincere gratitude for their loving care and compassion to BMH, Hospice nurse; Heather D, and Heather H, and the UT Hospice nurses and staff; Carrie, Amanda and Jasmine. On Sunday, November 6th, services to celebrate Louise will be at Salem Baptist Church in the fellowship hall, 4602 Salem Rd, TN 37801. Visitation is scheduled at 1 pm - 3 pm Celebration of Life service is at 3 pm, with the burial to follow. Pallbearers will be; Andrew Mitchell, Grant Shockley, Garrett Shockley, Nathan Smith, David 'Mitch' Mitchell, Joseph Fee, Trey Smith, Caleb Watson; Honorary Pallbearer, Isaiah Fee. Officiating service will be; Lon Shockley Jr, Joesph Fee Jr. and David 'Mitch' Mitchell.
The family would like to thank all the people who have reached out with condolences. Your love reflects God's love toward us.
