Mary Ellen Sellers, age 70, of Maryville, TN. Went to be with Jesus Friday March 1, 2024. She was the daughter of Walter and Violet Goodwin. Left to cherish memories are daughters and son in laws; Nahalia and Norm Cormack, Nathena and Joey Ganus, son, and daughter in law; Michael and PJ Bruce. Grandchildren; Michael Lee, Isaac, Emily, Sarah, Kaylee, Corbin and Collier, Fiancé; Charles Mantione, her brothers and close friends. Mary enjoyed fishing, working in her flower beds and being with family. She was always there to offer her love and support no matter what. She was the rock and hero to her children and grandchildren. Mary became terminally ill six years ago with a lung disease and had struggled with her lupus her entire life. In the six years she battled the lung disease she put up a hard fight and she was determined to live. But God had a plan, not only did she fight hard, but her faith in the lord grew tremendously. God was truly preparing her for what he had in store. The memories of her love and guidance will continue to inspire those the closest to her. The love she had for her family and friends will be deeply missed. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me. Believe God, Fight the good fight of faith over come it and finish your full course. The family will be receiving friends and family Tuesday March 5, 2024, from 5pm – 7pm with service to follow with Tater Wells officiating. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday March 6, 2024, at Citico Baptist Cemetery at 2pm.
