Mary Jo "Joby" Payne, age 66 of Maryville, passed away Friday evening, July 2, 2021 at Blount Memorial Hospital.  She was a great pianist at Pleasant View Baptist Church, wonderful Momo, loved butterflies and was a wonderful cook. Romans 8:28 KJV - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.  Preceded in death by her parents, JB and Ruth Cash and infant son, Andy Payne.  Survivors include her husband, Kennith L. Payne; children, Kelly and Keith Sanderson of Maryville and Kayla and Josh Kincaid of Athens; grandchildren, David Sanderson, Nikki Sanderson and Seth Sanderson; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Margaret Ledford, Martha Buchanan and Marlene Long.

Funeral service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, July 5, 2021 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Pastor Jerry Garner and Brother Dave Bayless officiating.  Family and friends will meet 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Farner Presbyterian Cemetery in Polk County.  Family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville, (865) 982-6041, www.millerfuneralhome.org
