Marilyn Euretha Simerly passed away September 10th 2023 at her family home surrounded by her loving family. She loved to garden, play bingo, and cook for her family. She is preceded in death by her husband: Robert Lee Simerly, father: William Andrew Murphy and mother: Johnnie Rue Tuck, sisters: Frances, Alma Marie, Mildred, and Rose. Brothers: Bill Jr., James, and Charles. She is survived by her children: Windy Hall, Kay Yoakum, Eddie ("Nick") Simerly, and Gidget Boring grandchildren: Jared Hall, Whitney Alexander, Maegan Caldwell, Breanna Simerly, and Jessica Yoakum, and Nick Yoakum great grandchildren: Kemper, Westin, Caroline, Tucker, Truitt, Emmerson, Hailey, and Hazen. Brother David Murphy, sister Juanita Blair and sister-in-law Pauline Murphy. Special thanks to Blount Memorial Hospice. Funeral will be 6:00 Thursday September 14th at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel with Reverend Jim Haggard officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Thursday.
