Obituary

Mable Levern Weeks, age 91 of Maryville TN, passed away December 1st, 2023 at Fairpark Health and Rehab. Mable was Mable all the time. To know her was to love her. She was a very hard-working woman all her life until age eighty. She loved the lord with all her heart and has served in many capacities at Friendship Baptist Church since 1973 and was a member of the Golden Nuggets. If you were anywhere near Mable, you would have your picture made for certain. She made wonderful birthday cakes for all family and most friends too. Her candy was always a hit for the holidays.

Preceded in death by her father Carter McKinney (Kentucky), mother Estell Naylor (Kentucky), and husband of fifty-four years Clyde Weeks; Sons Ricky and Ronnie Weeks; Daughters Sharon Levi, Debbie Montgomery, and Sandy Cline; Son-In-Law Bill Grindstaff, Brother Paul McKinney (Ohio), and special sister-in-law Shirley McKinney (Ohio).

Survived by: Son Clyde Weeks II (Lisa), Daughter Connie Grindstaff, Wayne Weeks (Barbara), Steve Weeks, Randall Weeks (Nita), and Mickey (Ann) Weeks. Grandchildren: Donnie Ervin (Christi), Brian Ervin (Claudette), Derek Fuller (Amy), Samantha Hundley (Bennie), JC Weeks, David Weeks (Alyssa), Brad Weeks (Sasha), Chad Weeks, Sonya Anderson, Jessica Pino (Dan), several great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and many special church friends and family.

Special thanks to the amazing staff at Fairpark Health and Rehab in Maryville and special friends Joyce & Jim Lyttle, Kevin James, and Mary Russell.

In honor of Mable, we would like to ask for everyone to wear purple. Mable's wishes were for flowers or donations to be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or Shriners Children's Hospital.
