Louise A.
Pharo
Sep 8, 1940 — Jul 31, 2026
Maryville, Tennessee
Louise A. Pharo passed away Friday, July 31, 2026. Born on September 8, 1940 to Louis and Beatrice Allegrina, Louise lived a life defined by compassion, strength, and dedication to those she loved and cared for. She was devoted and deeply committed to her family, both as a daughter and mother.
Louise was also committed to her career caring for others as a Registered Nurse at Community Memorial Hospital in Toms River, New Jersey. Over the span of her career, she served as Head Nurse for Pediatrics and later as Head of Infection Control, earning her the respect of Colleagues through her knowledge, leadership and commitment to her patients.
Louise retired from and moved from Whiting, New Jersey where she had grown up and lived most of her life, to the peaceful surroundings of the Smoky Mountains in Maryville, Tennessee. It was here that she called home for nearly three decades, enjoying a life of gardening, craft making, reading, painting, and drawing. She drew inspiration for her paintings and drawings from the scenery she was surrounded by.
Above all else, Louise treasured her family. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Chuck), her grandchildren, Charlotte (Marc), Sarah (Tom), and Emily (Chris) and her great-grandchildren, Rowan, Rebecca, Elena and Eli.
Louise will be remembered for her caring heart, independent spirit, creativity, and the kindness she showed throughout her life. Whether she was comforting a patient, tending to her gardens, creating a beautiful piece of artwork, or just simply enjoying a book with a pet nearby, she found happiness in life’s simple gifts.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
