Lorina Yates Crye, born November 25, 1938, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2022.  A housewife most of her adult life, she enjoyed her years caring for her family including the years she dedicated to helping with her granddaughters and great-grandson.  She lost her loving husband in 2020 after 62 years of marriage.  They were members of Union Grove Baptist Church in Big Gully and also attended Smyrna Baptist Church.  She was preceeded in death by husband, Robert Crye, parents Gridley and Gena Yates, brother Gridley Yates, "Jr.", and infant sister Beatrice.  She is survived by daughter Carol (Mark) Humphrey; granddaughters Kyna (Dustin) Burger and Whitney (Will) Gratz; great-grandchildren Luke Walker, Austin Burger, Elyza Gratz, and unborn "Baby" Gratz; sister Wanda Dailey; brother Harold Yates; sister-in-law Gladys Waters; many nieces and nephews who were dear to her heart. She loved receiving flowers, so they are welcome in her memory.  There will be a graveside service at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 2217 Big Gully Rd. on Friday, September 2 at 11 am with Rev.
