Kenneth Lee Wilburn, age 79, of Alcoa went home to be with the Lord, Monday, April 22, 2024, at his home.  He was a member of the Knoxville Firefighters Union, Retired Officer Association of the Coast Guard, and a member of Everett Hills Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Maggie Wilburn and brother, Freddie Wilburn.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Meredith Wilburn; children, Theresa Gresham, Michelle Gresham Stevens; son in law, Doyle R. Stevens; grandchildren, Trisha Raye Gresham and Jacob Doyle-Lee Stevens; great-grandchildren, Alexis R. Gresham, Adrean J. Smith, and Aden E. Grubb; great-great-grandchildren, Carson and Bentley Gresham; siblings, Edna Woody, Lois Lane, and Eddie Wilburn.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Doug Hayes and Chaplain Paul Trumpore officiating.  Interment will be held at 12:30 PM Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
