Kenneth David Lawson was born on May 6th, 1944, and passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on September 15, 2023. He was a retired electrician from Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He was an avid golfer, winning many tournaments. He loved bow hunting and drag racing in his younger years, as well as being a boxer with Golden Gloves in Knoxville. He loved taking Sunday drives with his wife and daughter, and he had a special love for his granddaughter.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Nell Lawson, sisters Barbara Lawson (infant) and Cleo Wilson. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Linda Lawson, daughter Neletia Lawson Cutshaw, granddaughter Kara Cutshaw, sisters, Carolyn Carabis, Patricia Snowden (Dave), Mary Ann Sanoda (Tak), brothers Howard Lawson (Peggy), and Roy Lawson, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will receive friends on Monday, September 18th, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Miller Funeral Home in the Magnolia Chapel. A graveside service will be held at Sherwood Memorial Gardens on September 19th, 2023, at 11:00 am.
