Kathy Joel Vaughn, 73 of Maryville went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, August 21, 2025.  She was a member of First Baptist of Concord. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Cleo Lucius and father of her children, Chester Earl Vaughn.

She is survived by her children, Shelly (William) Dewhirst and Kelly (Ashley) Vaughn; grandchildren, Alexis Reagan, Hannah Gage, Raylan Vaughn and Madison Vaughn; sister, Paulette (Carl) Walker; and caregiver, Teresa Walker.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, August 29, 2025, at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Carl Walker officiating. Interment will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Walker Family Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
