John Carson Tipton, age 71, of Maryville passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024.  He retired from Alcoa Aluminum Company after 50 years of service.

Survivors include daughter, Joann Curtis; granddaughters, Elle and Michelle; 2 great-grandchildren; and several extended family members.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, June 17, 2024, at Grandview Pavilion, Rev. Greg Brackin officiating.  Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
