John H. Smith, 66, passed away on July 28, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Verna; siblings, Daniel, Frances, Alice, and David.  He is survived by his brother, Donald; children, Jimmy, Josh, and Jennifer (Brian); and grandchildren, Nevaeh "Baby Girl", Joshua, Allan, Rylan, Remy, and Liam; along with many nephews and nieces.  Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
