Jerry Allen Monroe Boggs, age 81 of Maryville, formerly of Salisbury, NC, passed away at home on December 18, 2022. Jerry was a graduate of Salisbury High School. After high school, he worked as a master electrician for many years and loved NASCAR racing, fishing, baseball, and collecting coins and bear figurines. He has resided with his family in Maryville, TN for 9 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Boggs, and brother, Pete. He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Stephens and husband, Mike of Maryville; grandchildren, Matthew, McKenzie and husband, Michael Detran of NY, Savannah, and great granddaughter, Katherine; stepdaughter, Elisa; family, Ronald, Jared, Sheri and Tim Garrison, Emily, Erin, Shelby and Seryn; nephew, Michael and wife, Jamie Boggs, their daughter, Kailee; niece, Renay and husband, Lee DeMent; and lifelong friend, Beverly.
