Jerry Ray Lankford, age 72, of Friendsville went to Heaven, Monday, January 23, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lily Marie Lankford; and brother, Wayne Lankford.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dorothy Lankford; children, Pamela Wayman, Terry (Erika) Lankford, and Jerry (Rebecca) Lankford; grandchildren, Kelsey (Tim) Boyce, Lindsey (Trayce) Talbott, Tiffany (Brandon) McClure, Elizabeth McMillan, Jayden Lankford, Chloe Lankford, Ariel Lankford, and Scott Lankford; great-grandchildren, Ripley McClure and Theodore Boyce; siblings, Franklin Lankford, Ina Clark, Martha Conner, Vickie Lake, Linda Bailey, and Wilma Wilford; and several nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to Oakview Baptist Church, Knoxville Rubber and Gasket, and the Doctors and Nurses at Blount Memorial Hospital.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM Friday, January 27, 2023, at Miller Funeral Home, Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Scott Huffstetler officiating.  Interment will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at Unitia Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.  (865) 982-6041
