Jennie Garner McClanahan, age 97, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 11, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Burl McClanahan.  She is survived by her children, Larry (Janice) McClanahan of Jonesborough, TN, Dennis McClanahan of Kingsport, TN, and Conchita "Connie" Robinson of Louisville, TN; grandchildren, Rhonda (Rob) Sampson, Michael (Page) McClanahan, Audra (Richie) Gass, Chris Robinson, Kristi Wilson, and Haley (Adam) Greenlee; and eleven great-grandchildren.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She was humble, sweet, and kind.  She was loved by all who knew her and will be missed by her family and friends.  The family will hold a private service at Miller Funeral Home on Wednesday with her interment at Prospect Cemetery.
