Jeff Melvin Nichols, age 57, of Rockford went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 27, 2023.  He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of the Heritage Antique Tractor and Engine Club.  Jeff loved rodeos, flea markets, museums, train rides, tractor and car shows.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd F. Nichols.  Jeff is survived by son, JR Nichols; mother, Patricia D. Ryburn; siblings, Diane H. Nichols of Knoxville and Floyd Nichols of Waco, TX; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jeff will go for his Last Ride in the Townsend Christmas Parade on December 3, 2023, with his friends in the Heritage Antique Tractor and Engine Club and a celebration of his life will be held after at the Little River Railroad and Lumber Museum in Townsend around 5:00 PM.
