Jean "Suzanne" Caldwell

August 23, 1947 – March 2, 2026

What is our hope in life and death? Christ alone! What is our only confidence? That our souls to Him belong.  Trusting Jesus in life and death, Jean "Suzanne" Caldwell, 78, passed from life into life through her death on Monday, March 2, 2026. Her great joy was her family, and she was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church, Alcoa for 50 + years. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donnie Ray Caldwell; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Allan Atchley; son and daughter-in-law, Matt and Misti Caldwell; and grandchildren, Addison (Nik) Miesse, Will Atchley, David Atchley, and Hadleigh Caldwell.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Billie Jean McDaniel; father, Bryce McDaniel; grandparents, Wade and Minnie Headrick; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Thank you to all her friends at DaVita Dialysis and AMR for the excellent care she received. A special thanks to her devoted caregiver, Rita, and most recent caregivers, Joan and Nikki.  Thank you also to Dr. John Ingram III and Dr. Neal Atchley.
