Janie Garner Martin, age 94, of Walland went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 12, 2025.        She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Chester Martin; son, Robert "Bob" Martin; infant daughter, Anjunita Martin; parents, Robert "Pop" F. and Rebecca "Mom Becky" Garner; sisters, Willie (Johnny) McCaulley, Vertie (Harry) White, and Tootsie (Wayne) Tipton; and brothers, Raymond (Grace) Garner, J.R. (Bernice) Garner, and Tommy Garner.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Karen) Martin; daughter, Connie (Dwight) Waters; grandson, Josh Waters; granddaughter, Alicia (Drew) Binkley; step grandson, Jeremy Dills; sister, Bootsie (Max) Potter; sister-in-law, Patsy Garner; special niece and caregiver, Becky Williams; and faithful nephew and visitor, Jerry Garner; and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at Hillcrest Baptist Church Cemetery, Rev. Tim Martin officiating. Arrangements are with Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
