James Colvin Sturgill, age 75, went on to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 21st, 2023 at his home in Maryville, TN.  James was born on May 7th, 1948 and raised in eastern Kentucky.

His legacy is now being continued by his wife, Billie Sturgill (Wells), their son, Joshua of Chattanooga, TN, their daughter, Tara of Bellevue, KY, and three grandchildren, Lance, Hunter, and Ryleigh.  His legacy and story are also continued by his two siblings, Lana of Lexington, KY, Kevin of Land O Lakes, FL, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Wilma Sturgill (Music), father, Harlie Sturgill, and brother, Johnny Sturgill.

James will be fondly remembered on Saturday, October 28th, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Springview Baptist Church, 4220 US-411, Maryville, TN, during his Celebration of Life ceremony.
